November 2, 2007 (Longview, Texas) -- Wal*Mart
Store #398 donated $1000 to the East Texas Down Syndrome Group in their
commitment to helping community organizations.
Mike Hickson, Store Manager, accepts a certificate of appreciation from
ETDSG President Lisha Mack and member Kate McAvoy.

Times Square
National Down Syndrome Awareness Video Features Ryan Bailey
NEW YORK, NY
— Ryan Bailey of Gladewater, Texas, will appear in lights on Broadway on
Sunday, September 30, 2007 as part of the National Down Syndrome Society’s
video production to demonstrate that people with Down syndrome can be
successfully included in community activities, education and employment.
The photo of Ryan, who has Down syndrome, was
selected from over 2,500 entries in the NDSS nationwide call for photos.
Approximately 215 photographs will appear in a video production to be shown on
the larger-than-life Newscorp Astrovision by Panasonic, located in the heart of
Times Square
. Panasonic has donated 40 minutes of time on the Times Square Astrovision
in honor of October, National Down Syndrome Awareness month.

The video production, coordinated by NDSS,
illustrates children,
teens and adults with Down syndrome working, playing and learning with friends
and family.
The
Times Square
video production kicks off National Down Syndrome Awareness Month, which
includes the 2007 Buddy Walk. This year, walks will be held in more than
275 cities across the country, as well as many international walks. John C.
McGinley, who plays Dr. Perry Cox in the hit NBC show “Scrubs,” is the
2007 National Buddy Walk Spokesman. Mr.
McGinley is both an accomplished actor and the proud father of Max, his
nine-year-old son who has Down syndrome. The
New York City Buddy Walk will be led by Mr. McGinley and NDSS Goodwill
Ambassador Chris Burke, star of the long-running ABC series, “Life
Goes On.” For information

May 22, 2007 (Gilmer, TX) -- Angelia Ellis, Wal-Mart
Store #0146 Assistant Manager, presents a $1000 community grant to the East
Texas Down Syndrome Group. President, Lisha Mack, accepts the gift while holding
Ryan Bailey. Ryan is one of nearly 100 East Texas members with Down syndrome
served by the non-profit group which has no membership fee. Services include new
parent gift packages, monthly newsletter, educational meetings, paid tuition for
training seminars, socials, user-friendly website and the annual sponsorship of
one family's attendance to a national Down syndrome educational conference. For
