Gift Packages

The East Texas Down Syndrome Group distributes gift packages to parents (or caregivers) who have a child with Down Syndrome of ANY age without charge.  We do this through direct request via website at mail@etdsg.org or phone at (903) 757-3516.  Sometimes E.C.I. (Early Childhood Intervention), medical providers, family members or other supportive individuals make the request on behalf of a family.  We are happy to accommodate these requests in any manner.  Packages can be mailed or delivered personally. 

 Our gift package (in English or Spanish) includes most or all of the following (depending upon availability at the time of request).

--Babies With Down Syndrome: A New Parent’s Guide (paperback)                     **for our new parents

--Small gift for baby, young child, teen or adult with Down syndrome

--Buddy Walk t-shirts

--Inspirational reading material, including the book Gifts:  Mothers Reflect On How Children with Down syndrome Enrich Their Lives, edited by Kathryn Lynard Soper; published by Woodbine House

--Letter from our group’s president

--Information about becoming a member (at no cost)

--Recent newsletter published by the East Texas Down Syndrome Group

--Hand-made afghan, booties & hat for small infants made by the loving grandma of one of our angels  **for our new parents
